It’s taken a while but the hugely popular Minecraft is now available for users of Microsoft’s Windows phone OS.
Since Microsoft’s acquisition of Minecraft last month, it was just a matter of time until the addictive title found it’s way onto their Windows phone platform. Now user’s of Microsoft’s OS can join the community of over 100 million Minecraft players worldwide in creating hidden bases, towering castles… or just simply trying to survive the night.
Including both survival and creative modes, Minecraft: Pocket Edition will allow gamers to take their own unique worlds with them everywhere they go. Getting a few friends around will also allow players to join up in a local Wi-Fi game to explore strange new lands, slay exotic monsters and to generally grief each other senseless. Minecraft: Pocket Edition is available to purchase in the Windows store now for £4.99(UK) or $6.99(US).
