Want a new Xbox One controller? Want something a little different? Well Xbox Design Labs have some new designs available, about 8 million to be exact.
With Microsoft’s new Xbox Design Labs you can now design your own customer Xbox One controller by selecting a range of colours for the shell, analog sticks, directional pad, face buttons and even the menu buttons. In total Microsoft claim to now offer over 8 million potential combinations, and if the wasn’t enough they even offer to laser engrave your gamertag onto the front of your new controller.
Prices start at $79.99 for the new custom controllers, or an extra $9.99 if you’d like your name engraved too. The Xbox Design Labs controllers are based on the version of the Xbox One controller included with the upcoming Xbox One S console. The new design features enhanced wireless connectivity, a new textured grip, a 3.5mm headphone jack for headsets and bluetooth for connecting to your Windows 10 PC, tablet or phone.
Currently the Xbox Design Labs is unavailable outside of the United States, with Microsoft confirming the service will not come to the UK or Europe until 2017 at the earliest. Pricing for a UK release is currently unknown.
